The trip from Preikestolhytta to Preikestolen is one of Norway’s most popular hiking routes. More than 250,000 people visit the spectacular mountain plateau every year!
The Preikestolen plateau towers 600 metres above the Lysefjord in Rogaland county. The walk to Preikestolen takes around 2 hours for those used to rugged terrain. It will take longer for children and inexperienced hikers.
